National Geographic photographer takes the iPhone 5S out shooting
In general, there are few people more skeptical of smartphone photography than professional photographers. According to many people who make their living with photography, mobile photography is weakening their artform, and sometimes putting them out of work. Other professionals, like Jim Richardson, see their smartphone as just another tool in their camera bag.
Check out some of Richardson's photos from his Instagram:

Portraitfotograf Hamburg
Lukas Leonte is a young photographer who blends his imagination with a very natural style of photography. His pictures show that he has great creative talent but also that he doesn’t force his creativity upon his pictures. Instead, he realizes his ideas within the context and atmosphere of the pictures themselves. In this way his photography presents intriguing ideas which are also nice to look at.
We asked Lukas a few questions about his photography, which you can find below with a selection of Lukas’ work from his Flickr photostream.

Thinking of You action photoshop
This is another stylized photographic treatment that adds a filmic, green-cast and heavily saturated shadows effect. The end result feels both blockbuster-movie-like, and very fashion orientated.

Beautiful Photos From The Mountains by Ben Shew
30-year-old Ben Shew has been into photography for close to ten years, and lives just outside of Philadelphia. He started taking photos of cars for his friends and himself and then got into landscape and nature photography. When shooting landscapes, Ben prefers open spaces; vastness that shows just how big our world is, such as open rolling fields or large towering mountains.
Ben has always been inspired by the works of Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier-Bresson. They seem to find that certain magic that draws you into the shot to make you feel like you are there. In the future, Ben wants to grow in his film photography, and expand overall in his abilities.
To see more of Ben’s work, check out his website and Flickr Photostream.

Artistic Self-Portraits by Jordyn Otey
Jordyn Otey is a 16-year-old self taught photographer, born and raised in Naples, Florida. While going through some tough things, Jordyn used photography as her escape. The more and more she practiced, the more she loved it, and the more she started photographing other people. All this led to creating an Instagram account, which she says was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
When Jordyn graduates next year, she hopes to pursue a career as a wedding and fashion photographer, and of course keep doing her creative self-portraits.
