30-year-old Ben Shew has been into photography for close to ten years, and lives just outside of Philadelphia. He started taking photos of cars for his friends and himself and then got into landscape and nature photography. When shooting landscapes, Ben prefers open spaces; vastness that shows just how big our world is, such as open rolling fields or large towering mountains.
Ben has always been inspired by the works of Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier-Bresson. They seem to find that certain magic that draws you into the shot to make you feel like you are there. In the future, Ben wants to grow in his film photography, and expand overall in his abilities.
